We mean it when we say #everythingcandosomething! Have you ever considered what you something might be? We hope to be a resource to get your mind stirred toward how you can be involved in the child welfare system right here in our county! Stay up-to-date and in the know on what we have going on, as well as other community partners, and find ways that you can use your gifts, talents and uniqueness to change our community!
This group is designed to help members of the bio/foster/adoptive/kinship community meet one another's needs. If you are in search of a particular item (ISO), simply make a post letting others know what you need. If you have gently used items that you'd like to bless another home with, post those items as well!
This can be a great resource for finding clothing, baby items, respite providers, or professionals that take Superior STAR Health.
If you have posted the items to FLBC Swap and no one is in need of the item, please look at donating to Helping Hands Ministries of Belton, Churches Touching Lives for Christ (CTLC), Hope Pregnancy Centers, or Family Promise.
The birthday box program provides birthday presents for children in foster care; specifically children in kinship or group home placements.
Caseworkers fill out forms with information about the children, so we can give them things they would love for their birthday!
Group members provide all the items you would need to throw a birthday party. (Decorations, supplies, plates, napkins, a few gifts and a gift card for a cake).
We provide the kiddos, you provide the party!
