Katie McRae - Executive Director

Hello, I’m Katie McRae. Although I’m not originally from Texas, I made my way here as quickly as possible. My husband, Ken, and I have called Temple home since 2007, where we are raising our four children: Liam, Liv, Lucie, and Elizabeth, along with our puppy, Molly Blue. I hold a B.S. in Christian Leadership from Liberty University and bring 20 years of leadership experience from both the corporate world and our church community.

Much of our time is spent at Temple Bible Church, where we actively worship and serve together. My passion lies in caring for children and families experiencing crisis, and I am dedicated to guiding others in realizing their own capacity to help. As stated in James 1:27, this mission is close to my heart. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, discovering new places, organizing the chaos of life, and studying the Word of God.

Sariah Winkler

Community Coordinator, LMSW

Hello, I’m Sariah! Originally from Belton, I spent four years at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. My passion for children has guided my career path, and I feel immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve in this field. I cherish my time spent with my family, especially my niece and nephew, who bring me so much joy. On weekends, I enjoy connecting with friends, traveling, and savoring iced caramel macchiatos. My journey has led me to Foster Love Bell County, and I am eager to support children, families, and caseworkers in our foster community.

Joy Sexton - Programs Coordinator

Hello, I’m Joy! I have been married for 20 years to Anson. Together, we have three daughters who keep us quite active with FFA, basketball, golf, and various other activities. I started my career in the surf apparel industry while in college, where I spent nine years designing clothes in California. That chapter of my life ended when I had Emerson 16 years ago. Our family of three then moved to Paarl, South Africa, to serve as missionaries for a couple of years. We returned to the United States just before welcoming our second child, Reese. Over the following 11 years, I wore many hats as a pastor’s wife, homeschool mom, and florist until our youngest, Frankie, joined our family. I cherish my Bible, enjoy sipping hot tea, and love our family weekend getaways. My dogs, Dolly and Mabel, bring me joy as well. Although I will always be a beach girl at heart, I have a special appreciation for Texas sunsets enjoyed with chips and queso.
